Dayton-Hudson Corp. has named Gerald R. Gallagher a director, effective Feb. 1. He had previously been named vice chairman and chief administrative officer of the Minneapolis retailer. He is currently vice chairman and chief administrative officer of its Hayward, Calif.-based Mervyn’s chain.
