A man was booked on suspicion of murder after his wife was inadvertently shot to death by a security guard after a dispute at a Los Angeles hamburger stand, police said. Manuel Antonio Montalvan, 21, was taken into custody after his wife, Sandra Vasquez Montalvan, no age given, was shot to death as she drove by the parking lot of Tommy’s Burgers at 2575 Beverly Blvd. Investigators said Manuel Antonio Montalvan allegedly got into a fistfight with another patron at the hamburger stand and vowed to “come back and see him again.” Montalvan went to his car and allegedly opened fire at patrons from the passenger’s side as the car went by. Officers said a security guard, whose name was not immediately available, returned the fire, fatally wounding Sandra Vasquez Montalvan.
