UCLA Women Begin Conference

The UCLA women’s basketball team opens its Western Collegiate Athletic Assn. schedule tonight at 7:30 against Cal State Fullerton at Pauley Pavilion.

Leading the Bruins (9-4) will be senior forward Jackie Joyner, the team’s leading scorer. Joyner had 17 rebounds and 19 points in UCLA’s last game, a 76-57 victory over Oklahoma State. Returning to the lineup will be sophomore center Annette Keur, who missed the OSU game because of disciplinary reasons.

The Titans (10-4) have won eight of their last nine. Senior forward Meg Gallagher is averaging 17 points and six rebounds a game to lead the Fullerton attack.
