Hotel Construction Set:Construction of a six-story hotel, approved by the Planning Commission this week, is set to begin by summer on Avenue of the Arts at Sakioka Farms. The 237-room complex will include a four-story parking structure and a two-story restaurant, city planner Mike Robinson said. In November, 1983, the City Council approved a 354-room, 13-story luxury hotel. But the plans were revised and the hotel now will have moderately priced rooms, Robinson said. The council is expected to vote on the project Monday.
