CommerceBank of Newport Beach has added two new members to its executive staff, completing a management expansion dictated by the opening last year of its Costa Mesa office. Robert D. LeDuc has been named vice president and commercial loan officer at CommerceBank’s Newport Beach headquarters branch and Peter Atkinson has been named regional vice president and branch manager of the Newport Beach office. LeDuc, 41, previously was vice president and commercial loan officer at the Newport Beach office of Bank of California while Atkinson, 43, was vice president of Community Bank in Huntington Park. CalComp, an Anaheim computer graphics products company, recently announced a series of promotions and new hirings. David Schlotterbeck has been promoted to vice president and general manager of the Plotter Products Division, replacing Doyle Cavin, who becomes vice president, technology. Paul LaPlante has been appointed director of material and procurement of the Anaheim operations. In the systems division, Charles Gardner has been promoted to vice president of systems sales and Larry Sanders has been appointed to the new position of vice president of U.S. peripherals sales. Warren Winterbottom has been named vice president of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales. Louis DeBartelo is the new vice president and general manager of the systems division, replacing Joseph Fornataro, who was named vice president, systems sales programs.

“These changes within our organization reflect our aggressive new posture in this fast-growing industry,” said CalComp President William Conlin in a statement. “We are coordinating our efforts to rapidly develop, produce and sell products that offer our customers solutions, not just product specifications.”
