A South Shore Line train packed with commuters slammed into another commuter train on the same track during the evening rush hour and at least 129 persons were injured, none seriously, authorities said in Gary, Ind. Sub-zero weather was blamed for damaging overhead electrical lines, said Richard Bunton, a spokesman for the line.
