The San Antonio-based computer maker declined to predict how large the loss might be for the quarter ending Jan. 26. The company said this quarter’s expected loss stems from inventory adjustments, consolidation of administration and manufacturing units and an 8% reduction in its 8,000-person work force. During the same period last year, the company reported net income of $9.3 million.
