Sears Savings Bank has appointed three executives in a realignment of senior management “to streamline decision making,” said John J. Detterick, chairman and chief executive the Glendale-based company.

Ronald F. Danner has been named executive vice president and head of the 100-branch retail banking division; Edward B. Babcock has been appointed senior vice president in charge of administrative services, and L. Norton Wrisley has been named senior vice president-finance.

All three, along with Anthony D. Falconieri, senior vice president for lending administration, report to President Gerald E. Niemeyer and, with Detterick, form the executive staff of Sears Savings Bank. The savings bank is part of Sears, Roebuck & Co.’s Sears Financial Network.

William H. Edwards, executive vice president of Hilton Hotels Corp. and president of the Hilton Hotels division, has been named vice chairman of the Beverly Hills-based corporation, effective May 1. The post had been vacant for several years, the company said.

David Hoberman has been named vice president of production for Walt Disney Productions, Burbank. He has been a motion picture agent for the last three years and before that was a production executive with Norman Lear’s TAT Communications.

CALIFORNIA

L. Odell Larson has succeeded Robert A. McGregor, who retired, as director of the State-Federal Crop and Livestock Reporting Service for the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Sacramento. The jointly financed service issues statistical reports on California agriculture.

James W. Martling, a former First Boston Corp. vice president responsible for public finance activities on the West Coast, has joined Rauscher Pierce Refsnes Inc. in San Francisco as a senior vice president. Martling will assume management responsibility for the firm’s West Coast operations.
