Spanish Host Families

Student ages 14-17 are invited to practice their Spanish on host families in Spain this summer. Everything from Spanish pantomime to opera. . . . Met actors, designers, choreographers. A must for theater lovers!”

England--Virginia E. Smith, Palm Springs: “A beautiful B&B; in the ancient town of Lavenham in England--about 1 1/2 hours northeast of London. It’s called the Fir Tree House, 81 Church St., Lavenham, Suffolk, England. Owned by artists. An art gallery in the house. For about $12.50 per person per night we had a huge canopy bed, Laura Ashley wallpaper, art on the walls and a private bath. Breakfast is included. If you wish the evening meal (served in the art gallery with a roaring fire), it is about $6 per person. The town itself is fascinating. No one will be disappointed!”
