Mike Krushelnyski scored on a rebound with two seconds left Monday night to give the Edmonton Oilers a 4-3 National Hockey League victory over the Calgary Flames.

Wayne Gretzky hit Mark Napier with a pass in the goal crease, but the rebound bounced to Krushelnyski and his slapshot went into the center of the net.

Defenseman Paul Coffey’s second goal of the night with 1:20 left pulled the Oilers into the 3-3 tie.

Until that point, the Flames appeared headed for their second win of the season over Edmonton. Steve Tambellini snapped a 2-2 tie with Calgary’s first shot of the second period and the Flames maintained that lead until Coffey’s goal.

Goaltender Reggie Lemelin had his unbeaten stretch ended at six games, and the loss was Calgary’s first in 23 games this season when they have taken a lead into the third period.
