A one-foot-square block of ice startled a Walnut woman when it fell from the sky and crashed through the roof of her home, sheriff’s deputies said. Rosemary Ramsay, 45, was sitting in her family room at 20063 Emerald Meadow Drive, when the mystery cube crashed through the roof over her entrance way, Deputy Mike Ford said. He said the ice made a two-foot-square hole in Ramsay’s roof, and a four-foot-square hole in her ceiling. Ramsay saved a portion of the ice in her freezer, and the Federal Aviation Administration was attempting to determine its source.
