Titan Wrestlers Lose to Sixth-Ranked LSU
Sixth-ranked Louisiana State University scored a 42-6 win over Cal State Fullerton in a nonconference wrestling match Saturday night at El Dorado High School.
Kevin Jackson, the nation’s top-ranked 167-pounder, earned a 21-6 decision over Fullerton’s Darren Lindsay in helping LSU improve its record to 15-4. Mitch Pagano provided the highlight for Fullerton, pinning Gary Langer at the 4:57 mark in the 150-pound class.
The loss drops Fullerton to 6-8. The Titans play host to Fresno State next Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Titan Gym.
