Orange 70, El Modena 67--Forward Dave Roth made amends for a mediocre 14-point performance in a 61-43 loss against the Vanguards in the first round by scoring 26 points, including three free throws in the final 30 seconds as the Panthers remained in first place with a 9-1 league record.
El Modena fell to 6-4 and must win all of its remaining games to make the playoffs.
