Fullerton College Meets Orange Coast

Fullerton College, coming off an upset win over Cerritos in double overtime, will go for its fifth win in six games tonight when the Hornets play struggling Orange Coast at 7:30 in Peterson Gym at Costa Mesa.

Fullerton (6-3 in conference and 12-10 overall) beat Cerritos Saturday, 78-69, to move into third place in the South Coast Conference. The Hornets are two games behind Cerritos and Mt. San Antonio, who are tied for first place with 8-1 records.

Orange Coast (4-5, 13-10) has lost four straight, including Saturday's 50-43 defeat against Cypress. The Pirates are led by forward Shaughn Ryan, who is averaging 17.7 points per game. Ryan fouled out with 11:32 remaining in the game Saturday, and Orange Coast went scoreless the next eight minutes.

Saddleback (4-5, 14-9) is at Cerritos (8-1, 17-4), Golden West (0-9, 7-15) is at Mt. San Antonio (8-1, 21-2) and Santa Ana (2-6, 9-12) is at Compton (3-6, 8-12).
