The body of an unidentified woman was found at noon Monday on an open slope of Otay Mountain in San Diego. Deputy Coroner Chuck Bolton said the woman, who was in her 30s or 40s, apparently died of exposure or natural causes. “There were no obvious external signs of injury. It was a steep area and she probably over-extended herself,” Bolton said. He said the woman apparently had not been robbed as there was money and jewelry on the body. The body was reported to the Border Patrol by a group of illegal aliens who had passed through the rugged border area and later were caught in Temecula Canyon.
