An early morning fire in a Westlake nightclub caused $47,000 damage. The pre-dawn blaze at Tiberio’s Dance Club, 756 S. Alvarado St., was extinguished by about 60 firefighters in 40 minutes, a Fire Department spokesman said. The blaze started in the stage area of the single-story club and spread to the attic, spokesman Larry Ford said. No injuries were reported.
