A Santa Ana market was robbed of $800 Saturday afternoon by two men, one of whom shot and seriously wounded the clerk, Joung Kim.
Two men entered the Annam Market at 2034 S. Main St. and forced Kim, 47, into a restroom at the rear of the market, according to Sgt. Mike Lanners. Kim was shot once in the chest with a large caliber pistol, after which the pair took the cash from the store’s cash register.
Paramedics treated Kim at the scene and transported him to Fountain Valley Community Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
