Stan Terlecki scored his second goal of the game with one second left Monday night to lift the Pittsburgh Spirit to a 7-6 victory over the Los Angeles Lazers in a Major Indoor Soccer League game at the Forum.

Terlecki took a pass from Zeee Kapka, came down the left side and scored from 20 feet out. The Lazers argued that time had expired before the ball was in the net. Los Angeles Coach Peter Wall said he will lodge a protest with the league.

Los Angeles had rallied from a 6-3 deficit in the final period on three goals by Stewart Lee, the last tying the game with 31 seconds remaining.
