West Orange County : Rogers Cablesystems Names Government Affairs Director
Linda Moulton, president of the Board of Trustees of the Huntington Beach Union High School District and an aide to former Rep. Jerry Patterson, has been named director of government affairs for Rogers Cablesystems of California.
Garden Grove and Los Alamitos, two of six Orange County cities served by the cable television firm, have pending lawsuits against the firm, charging breach of contract over rate increases imposed last year. Moulton, a Fountain Valley resident, will act as liaison between the cable system and the city councils of 12 Southern California cities.
Other cities served in Orange County are Stanton, Huntington Beach, Westminster and Fountain Valley. The firm also provides cable TV service for the unincorporated areas of Rossmoor and Midway City.
