Burbank Man Named Municipal Court Judge
Gov. George Deukmejian on Wednesday appointed Ronald S. Coen of Burbank, a deputy district attorney, as a Los Angeles Municipal Court judge.
Coen, 36, replaces Judge Richard Adler, who was elected to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Coen has directed the organized crime section of the district attorney’s office since 1973. He graduated from California State University, Northridge, in 1970 and earned his law degree at California Western School of Law.
The salary for Municipal Court judges is $66,449.
