NBA Roundup : Suns Close on Blazers, 114-104
Kyle Macy scored 24 points and rookie Jay Humphries had 11 of his 19 in the fourth period as the Phoenix Suns beat the Portland Trail Blazers, 114-104, Thursday night at Phoenix.
The victory broke a four-game losing streak for the Suns and moved them to within one game of second-place Portland in the Pacific Division standings.
Detroit 122, Golden State 113--Isiah Thomas sank a 12-foot jump shot and two free throws in the last minute to seal the Pistons’ victory over the Warriors at Oakland.
Kelly Tripucka scored 26 points for the Pistons, who broke a four-game road losing streak, and Bill Laimbeer and John Long each added 20. Purvis Short had 29 points for the Warriors.
