Los Angeles police used their controversial battering ram to break into a “rock house” where crystallized cocaine is sold in the Lakeview Terrace area, making one arrest and seizing an unspecified amount of cocaine and money, authorities said. Before raiding the house at 11442 Wheeler Ave., undercover officers had bought cocaine several times on the premises, police said. Armed with search warrants, narcotics officers returned to the house with the armored vehicle equipped with the battering ram. Kenneth Reaux, 25, was arrested and booked for investigation of selling cocaine. He is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail in the Van Nuys Division jail. Police said no one was injured in the raid, and that the same house was raided without using the battering ram in January. A man with a shotgun was arrested in that earlier raid and cocaine was seized, according to police.
