About 40 demonstrators gathered peacefully outside the Israeli Consulate in the Wilshire District to protest Israel’s occupation of southern Lebanon. Police said there were no arrests or other problems involving the group of Arab-Americans, carrying signs protesting the occupation, who gathered outside the consulate at 6380 Wilshire Blvd.
