DUNN WINNER OF SAWYER AWARD

Linwood G. Dunn, recipient of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Science’s honorary Gordon E. Sawyer Award, was inadvertently omitted in Tuesday’s list of Academy Award winners.
The award is for contributions to the advancement of the science or technology of motion pictures.
Dunn has worked on “King Kong,” “Citizen Kane,” “Cimarron,” “Mighty Joe Young,” “West Side Story,” “The Great Race,” “Hawaii” and “The Bible.”
