USIU Women Defeat Brigham Young, 9-0
SAN DIEGO —
The 12th-ranked United States International University women’s tennis team beat No. 14 Brigham Young, 9-0, on Thursday in a match at USIU.
The Gulls’ top singles player, Rakefet Binyamini, in her first match for USIU this season, beat BYU’s top singles player, Lesley Hakala, 6-4, 6-4. Binyamini later teammed with Julie Labonte to win the No. 2 doubles match, 6-0, 6-3.
