A Long Beach man was in police custody today after he allegedly shot to death two men and wounded two others during a series of apparently random shootings in the harbor area, officers said.
Long Beach police said Arthur Halvorson, 43, was arrested Sunday night after one shooting victim got close enough to his assailant to slash him in the throat near Pacific Coast Highway and Santa Fe Avenue.
