Buccaneers Open Against Bears Sept. 8
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released their 1985 National Football League schedule of 16-games that include a road date against the defending American Football Conference champion Miami Dolphins.
The Bucs will make their debut under new head Coach Leeman Bennett at Chicago Sept. 8, and will play three of their first four games on the road.
Minnesota will play the Bucs in Tampa Stadium on Sept. 15 and after trips to New Orleans and Detroit, Tampa Bay returns home to face the Central Division-rival Chicago a second time.
The Rams visit Tampa on Oct. 13 and the Bucs will play Miami in the Orange Bowl on Oct. 20.
Other home games include New England, Oct. 27; St. Louis, Nov. 10; Detroit, Nov. 24; Indianapolis, Dec. 15, and Green Bay, Dec. 22.
