For Tinnitus Sufferers

This is a letter to say thank you for being an agent for change in this city. Last year in the View section there was an article by Tom Robishon about a little-known disease called tinnitus. This attracted the attention of several people who passed the article on to me knowing that I had the problem of ear ringing or head noises. Because of the information given in your paper I was able to contact the national group, and I started a group in Los Angeles.

Last night more than 50 people attended our group meeting in West Los Angeles. Without the newspaper to put out information to the local citizens this never would have happened. All of us would have continued to suffer on our own and today we are not doing that. We are taking action.
