On April 14, Calendar Q appealed for fresh, new ideas to help save network TV. The responses continue to continue.

What the networks need are some of the best of their old shows, with modern new scripts, such as:

“Star Trek”--A progressive, admittedly liberal Enterprise crew comes into contact with an alien ship commanded by Captain Wally George. Kirk tries to understand the communications coming from the other ship, but Spock is unable to crack the code words, “Liberal Jerks.”

“Batman”--Batman and Robin are arrested for vigilantism and sentenced to watching six months of current network comedies.

“That’s Impossible”--Each week a team of dedicated researchers tries to find celebrities doing outrageous things. The first week’s challenges are to find famous actors marching in a pro-arms build-up and interviewing celebrities who get married, live together and have children--in that order.
