The assistant manager of a Taco Bell restaurant in Tarzana was shot and killed during a robbery, police said. The victim was identified as Everett Moore, 25. Police said he was single and had a daughter. “Mr. Moore and another male employee were in the process of cleaning up the restaurant when the robbery occurred,” Detective Patrick Conmay said. The other employee was uninjured, Conmay said. The robber was described as 25 to 30 years old; 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and thin. The man, armed with an automatic handgun, had a full beard and wore a white baseball cap, brown jacket and blue jeans. Moore had been employed at the Taco Bell in the 19400 block of Ventura Boulevard for the last year. Restaurant officials said the last time an employee had been killed while on duty was two years ago in Glendale.
