UCLA’s Center for International and Strategic Affairs has received two grants for its programs in international security and arms control research and education.

The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation has given a four-year, $400,000 grant. The Department of Education has given a grant to establish a joint program with USC’s School of International Relations for the study of international security issues. The amount of the Department of Education grant has yet to be determined, officials said.
