A teen-age girl was killed, another girl was severely injured and a third suffered moderate injuries after their car ran off the road and overturned between Lancaster and Gorman. The 16-year-old driver from Leona Valley, whose name was not immediately released, was killed when she was hurled from the vehicle, according to a California Highway Patrol spokesman. Lucy Voge, 17, of Leona Valley also was thrown from the vehicle and suffered major injuries. Vicky Conner, 17, from Llano suffered moderate injuries.
