3 Slain in Santa Ana Shooting
Three men were killed and a woman was wounded in a shooting early today in a residential neighborhood of Santa Ana, police said. Homicide investigators said they have made no arrests and know of no motive for the shooting, which occurred about 2 a.m. in front of a home at 4522 W. Posey St.
Names of the three victims were being withheld by investigators. The injured woman, also unidentified, was reported in stable condition at Western Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. Santa Ana Police Sgt. Bob Ensley said the neighborhood has been plagued by youth gangs, but because the victims were adults police do not believe the shooting was gang-related.
