The 75-year-old Sutter County town of Tudor is on the auction block for $92,000. The former railroad way station and highway rest stop is among 50 properties in 18 counties being auctioned at a Sacramento real estate office. “It’s really just a slowdown in the road,” said Tom McClelland, an employee of a Sacramento public relations firm that represents the auctioneer. “I drove right through it. It’s not listed on most maps and there are no signs indicating you’re entering Tudor.” The 1.2-acre town on California 99 is about 11 miles south of Marysville and Yuba City and 30 miles north of Sacramento. It has a restaurant, shop building, storage building and three small cabins.
