Developments Approved: Two new residential developments, which will add a total of 276 new housing units to the south county area, were unanimously approved by the Orange County Planning Commission Monday. The first project calls for the construction of 86 condominiums on a 4.68-acre site in Lake Forest, at the northeast corner of the intersection of Muirlands Boulevard and Murin Isle Lane. The commission also approved a plan for the construction of 190 single-family detached homes on a 23-acre site north of the intersections of Salt Creek Drive and Marbella Street in Laguna Niguel. However, the commission will require the developer, the Stein-Brief Group, to construct the homes so as to minimize interference with the ocean view of some neighboring homes.
