Fire destroyed a home at 1955 National Ave. on Friday, the San Diego Fire Department reported. Firefighters stationed at a firehouse down the street noticed the fire at 8:39 p.m. and worked to bring the blaze under control within 15 minutes.
No estimate for the damage was immediately available.
