‘Black Stallion’ Actor Hurt in Truck Accident

PUEBLO, Colo. —
Kelly Reno, 18, who played the boy marooned with a horse in the 1979 film “The Black Stallion,” suffered a broken leg, collapsed lung and possible kidney injuries in a highway accident today.
Police said Reno’s pickup truck was northbound on Interstate 25, attempting to pass two semi trucks, at the time of the accident. A passenger, Lynette Tuttle, 15, suffered a broken ankle.
