A 75-year-old woman was found slain, possibly the victim of robbers who ransacked her Arcadia home, Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators said. Mary Cannon was found dead in her home in the 300 block of East Haven Street by neighbors, who used a key to get into the house when they became concerned about the woman, Deputy Dave Hogan said. Investigators said the woman died of wounds to the upper part of her body, but they were unsure what caused the wounds. An autopsy was scheduled.
