Body of Boater Found

Divers have recovered a body believed to be that of a 20-year-old Los Angeles man who disappeared on the Fourth of July after diving off his rowboat on Legg Lake near Whittier, authorities said.

Jesus Cordova failed to surface after he dived into the lake at the Whittier Narrows recreational area to retrieve an oar. Coroners were attempting to confirm the identity.
