Morgan Fairchild and David Selby, who co-starred in the NBC soap opera “Flamingo Road,” will be reunited next season on CBS’ “Falcon Crest.” Fairchild, who starred in ABC’s “Paper Dolls” last season, will join the cast as a lawyer who works for Selby’s character, Richard Channing. . . . Also joining the “Falcon Crest” cast next season will be Cesar Romero, playing a rich friend of Angela Channing (Jane Wyman).

George C. Scott, who won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Gen. George S. Patton, will reprise the role in a TV movie for CBS about the soldier’s later life, called “The Last Days of Patton.” Eva Marie Saint will be seen as Patton’s wife, and Richard Dysart will portray Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower.

David Hasselhoff of “Knight Rider” and Stepfanie Kramer of “Hunter” are teamed in “Terror at London Bridge,” a movie for NBC. Hasselhoff plays a detective in Lake Havasu, Ariz., who believes that the relocation of the London Bridge there has brought with it the spirit of Jack the Ripper. Also in the film are Adrienne Barbeau, Randolph Mantooth, Lindsay Bloom, Clu Gulager and Rose Marie.

As Webster’s uncle, Ben Vereen tried but wasn’t able to adopt the little boy as his own. But now he’s getting a chance to play father to Emmanuel Lewis in “Lost in London,” a TV movie for CBS, with Lynne Moody as Vereen’s wife. As on “Webster,” Vereen and Lewis will sing and dance together.

Robert Stack and his wife, Rosemary, will be the hosts of “It’s a Great Life,” a new syndicated daytime series due to premiere in the fall. It’s yet another show about being rich, focusing on what the producers describe as “the attainment of elegance and the graciousness so lavishly maintained by the social and financial elite.”

Dr. Haing S. Ngor, who won an Academy Award for his performance in “The Killing Fields,” will star in an episode of NBC’s “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” next season. He’ll play a Vietnamese soldier in a remake of the Ambrose Bierce short story “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge,” which originally concerned a Confederate soldier during the Civil War.

“Our Time,” a summer series premiering July 27 on NBC, is aimed at the “baby boom” generation, as the guest roster should make evident. Among the performers who will be appearing are Paul Petersen of “The Donna Reed Show,” Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawford of “The Rifleman,” Ken Osmond of “Leave It to Beaver,” James Darren, Steve Reeves and Troy Donahue.

Filming has been completed on “Pride of Place: Building the American Dream,” an eight-part series for public television about U.S. architecture. The series, which is due to air next spring, will be hosted by Robert A. M. Stern, an architect and professor of architecture at Columbia University. According to the producers, he will look at buildings around the country and assess how they embody “the nation’s art, history, technology and political and social philosophies.”

Jacqueline Bisset and Michael York are among the performers who will discuss their craft with Arthur Allan Seidelman during the second season of “Actors on Acting.” The local series, produced by Larry Gilbert for KCET Channel 28, will air again in the fall. It recently won a Los Angeles area Emmy Award as best information series.
