On- and off-ramps to the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard will be closed from Monday through Aug. 8 for major ramp reconstruction. The state Department of Transportation will do the work as part of a $1.6-million project to upgrade ramps along both sides of the freeway from Fremont Avenue to Rosemead Boulevard. The project began in April and is expected to be completed in December. Each ramp along the route will be closed for 10 days during construction.
