Driver, 17, Dies: The driver of a car in which four Corona youths were injured has died of skull fractures sustained in the Costa Mesa accident, an Orange County coroner’s official said. Michael Leroy Wilhelm, 17, was pronounced dead at 12:35 p.m. Thursday at Fountain Valley Community Hospital. Police said he was driving a vehicle that crashed into a light standard at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, when the four teen-agers were believed to be on their way to the beach. Jeffery Seims, 16, remains in serious condition at Fountain Valley Hospital. Meanwhile, at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, the condition of John Lett, 16, has been upgraded to good, and Jason Yasment, 17, is in satisfactory condition.
