David Hasselhoff of “Knight Rider” and Stepfanie Kramer of “Hunter” are teamed in “Terror at London Bridge,” a movie for NBC. Hasselhoff plays a detective in Lake Havasu, Ariz., who believes that the relocation of the London Bridge there has brought with it the spirit of Jack the Ripper. Also in the film are Adrienne Barbeau, Randolph Mantooth, Lindsay Bloom, Clu Gulager and Rose Marie.

Public TV station WQED in Pittsburgh is trying to raise money for a six-part series about major conservation issues confronting the United States, such as dwindling water resources, misuse of agricultural land and conflicting goals for forest areas. The station already has secured money from the Richard King Mellon Foundation to produce the first program, about the nation’s wetlands.

The “Family Ties” cast has made a TV movie in England. “Family Ties Vacation” will air on NBC next season. The premise is that Alex (Michael J. Fox) has won a summer scholarship to Oxford University, and his father (Michael Gross) has come over with the rest of the family to make a public TV documentary.

People: Alfre Woodard, a regular on “Sara” last season and an Emmy Award-winner for a guest performance on “Hill Street Blues,” will appear in several episodes of “St. Elsewhere” next season as the head of the hospital’s obstetrics-gynecology department. . . . Della Reese will play Mr. T’s mother in an episode of “The A-Team” next season. . . . Apollonia Kotero, who co-starred with Prince in “Purple Rain,” will join the cast of “Falcon Crest” next season. . . . George Hamilton will have a recurring role on “Dynasty” in the fall, beginning with the third episode.
