Kenneth James Rell, wanted by Burbank police as a suspect in the stabbing death of a Studio City man, was arrested in North Hollywood Saturday night on suspicion of indecent exposure.

Rell had been sought in connection with the July 20 death of Steve Paul Sandoval, 25.

Witnesses said Rell and Sandoval were arguing outside a home in the 100 block of Providencia Avenue in Burbank when Rell plunged a steak knife into Sandoval’s heart, police reported.

Los Angeles police Sgt. George McCormick said Rell, 30, was arrested in North Hollywood Park. A computer check revealed the Burbank warrant for his arrest, McCormick said.
