Local News in Brief : 2 Seriously Injured as Cars Collide on I-5
A man and a child were in serious condition at Henry Mayo Hospital in Valencia Tuesday night after being airlifted from a car collision that occurred on Interstate 5, hospital authorities said.
County fire officials said the man was driving southbound on I-5 near Libre Canyon Road when he rear-ended a station wagon driven by a woman with four children.
All six victims were flown to the hospital, according to fire officials. Three other children and a woman were in good condition, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
