Curator Slated to Lecture on Martin House

John O’Hern, curator of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed D. D. Martin House in Buffalo, N. Y., will give a lecture, “Frankly Speaking: The Wright Way in Buffalo” at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Barnsdall Art Park, 4800 Hollywood Blvd.
Sponsor is the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department and Friends of Hollyhock House. A $3 donation will be requested, but admission is free to members of the Friends group and the Hollyhock House Associates.
O’Hern, a holder of the master of architecture degree from New York State University, Buffalo, was appointed Martin House curator in 1983. Since then a thorough study of the house has been made and portions are being restored.
