Valley Realty Firm Celebrates Its 35th Year

Gribin von Dyl, Realtors, specialists in San Fernando Valley real estate, is celebrating its 35th year and is still owned by Ira Gribin and Lou von Dyl, widely known in the industry.

Starting with four sales associates, the firm has expanded to a staff of more than 160 in its office network and claims it is the only surviving company among the top 30 firms that were in business in the valley in 1950.

The firm pioneered in the hiring and training of sales personnel and was top-ranked nationally by an independent market research firm for that effort; it was among the first to initiate a guaranteed sales program and led in equipping its offices with teletype machines that now have been supplanted by computers.

Its staff has provided four presidents of the San Fernando Valley Board of Realtors, four Realtors of the Year, a president of the California Assn. of Realtors and of the Realtors National Marketing Institute.
