Carrier Returns to Florida

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The aircraft carrier Lexington, fresh from an $83-million overhaul at the Philadelphia Navy Shipyard, returned Tuesday to its Florida home port. About 500 persons were on hand to welcome the vessel.
