Hazards of Kanan Road

Ilive in Agoura and often take Kanan Road to the beach and, like others in my area, I am aware of how hazardous Kanan Road is. Last weekend I was pleased to see a CHP officer on Kanan Road while I was driving to the beach and again when I returned. Traffic, therefore, was within the speed limit posted. Thanks for your article (“County OKs Using Radar for Speed Crackdown Along Kanan Road,” July 24) regarding the fatal accidents and the city’s concern for Kanan Road’s safety. It’s helping to make more people aware that deterring speeders may save lives.
