Maloncon to Play for Israeli Team

Former UCLA basketball player Gary Maloncon, recently cut by the Clippers, has signed to play professionally in Israel for the Hapoel Ramat-Gan team, according to Mark Shpiro and Erez Kaminski, scouts for the team.

Shpiro said he and Kaminski also attempted to sign Brad Wright, a teammate of Maloncon’s at UCLA, but Wright, who was released by the Golden State Warriors, has opted to play for a team in France.
